When Vanessa’s mother died, she and her sister were sent to live with a family member. Over time, it became evident that their living conditions were unacceptable.
When her relatives were deemed unfit and unable to care for Vanessa and her younger sister, they were placed with Methodist Children’s Homes. While here, they reconnected with a family friend who has since become their foster parent through MCH’s training and guidance. Thanks to this unification, Vanessa no longer fears being separated from her little sister. She now has hope for her future and says, “All things are possible as long as you believe and try.”
