Emily

Emily, also a victim of abuse in her home, was placed with us so that she could no longer be hurt.

Even though Emily misses her brothers and sister, she enjoys being part of a family at MCH. Before she died, Emily’s grandmother tried to teach her how to pray. Now with MCH, Emily knows and says that she now asks her Heavenly Father for help when she needs it. She explains that she feels different and, finally, safe. Specifically, Emily commented, “I like going to bed at night knowing that no one will come in and do things to me.”
