Isaiah 1:17: Learn to do right! Seek justice, encourage the oppressed. Defend the cause of the fatherless, plead the case of the widow.

Pray for the Children at the home

Pray for the awareness, coupled with the joy that comes from fulfilling God’s mandates to care for the fatherless.

Pray that more families will open their homes and hearts as foster parents.

Pray that our staff and teachers continue to prepare and equip our children educationally to be the best that they can be.

Pray for each one of our children as they overcome past abuse and help them combat low self-esteem, emotional pain, self-harm, fears, doubt and anger.

Pray for our children’s families especially, that they will seek reconciliation and reunification.

Pray that God puts people in the family members’ path to share Christ with them.

Pray that God uses the church’s bible studies and chapels to bring about new salvations and discipleship.

Pray specifically for our children and their immediate sphere of influence.

Pray for each one of our children’s spiritual growth.

Pray for our children’s families as they seek reconciliation or deal with the separation.

Pray for the staff at the Methodist Children’s Homes

Pray that the Lord will continue to give us His vision for our children and our ministry.

Pray that our staff will be intentional with sharing Christ with our children.

Pray for our staff and their responsibility as role models to our children.

Pray for wisdom for our leadership team as they make decisions that affect our children.

Pray that God will continue to provide financially for the Methodist Children’s Homes.

Pray for wisdom of our staff as they care for each one of our children.

Pray that our staff is reminded and renewed with the mission of why we minister to our children.

Princess for a Night

Dating does not come easy while living at the children’s home, so when Terrance asked her to prom, she was doubtful that she would even be able to go. With persistence, Karah worked hard to make this dream come true. After getting the “ok” from her social worker and the staff at MCH, she was well on her way.
