Foster Care Community Specialist - Brookhaven (Job Description)

Details: 50 mile radius of Brookhaven, MS. 40 hours/week - flexible schedule required.

Requirements: Must posses a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a mental health related field. Also, must have a minimum of two years as case manager, management & supervisor experience of a child care program. Also, must be, at minimum, provisionally certified as a Community Support Specialist by DMH within 90 days of hire.

Description: The Foster Care Community Specialist maintains an active caseload providing a comprehensive array of therapeutic and case management services to clients in the Brookhaven, MS area.

Human Resources and Training Coordinator (Job Description)

Details: Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college and one (1) year experience working in Human Resources; or Associate’s Degree in related field and Three (3) years experience working in Human Resources.

Description:The primary responsibility of the Human Resources and Training Coordinator is carrying out numerous tasks related to the administration of the Human Resources Department. He/She is a coordinator for important functions such as onboarding, training, maintaining employee records, etc.

Assistant Care Manager (Job Description)

Details: Monday - Friday 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm (must have flexible schedule and able to work other shifts as needed)

Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college in social work, psychology or other social services related field and one year of experience working with this population.

Description:The primary responsibility of the Assistant Care Manager is to provide program services to intervene with children & youths being served in the group homes.

Child Care Counselor (Job Description)

Details: Morning Shift - 7:00 am - 3:00 pm Monday - Friday

Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college; or Associate’s Degree in related field and one (1) year experience working with client population; or High School Diploma and three (3) years working with client population.

Description:The primary responsibility of the Child Care Counselor is to provide program services to intervene with children & youths being served in the group home. The position’s job responsibilities include implementing direct treatment services through use of the agency’s model of care, providing residential care services, and working with adolescents, families, volunteers, and community representatives in the home and community settings. The Child Care Counselor reports directly to the Care Manager.

Clinical Services Supervisor (Job Description)

Details: Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm (flexible schedule required, may work evenings. On call rotation included)

Requirements: Must have a Master’s Degree plus five (5) years of experience working with client population. Must have a current, unrestricted, Mississippi license (LCSW/LPC/LMFT)

Description:The primary responsibility of the Clinical Services Supervisor is to provide leadership and direction in the integration of therapeutic efforts into the organization’s program structure relating to therapeutic residence, foster care and community services to maintain an optimal balance of care and treatment based upon each client’s needs.
