Mike Duggar believes that God has called him to minister to broken children and to help them understand how much God loves them. His vision is to lead the way for and improve how Mississippi cares for traumatized children and troubled families.
Mike came to us from the Methodist Children’s Home in Macon, Georgia with twenty years of experience working with abused children in Tennessee, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Georgia and Mississippi. He received his bachelor’s in criminal justice from The University of Tennessee and his master’s in community psychology from Pennsylvania State University.

Devon Loggins ensures that our programs and services are providing the absolute best care for our children. Committed to creating an environment in which our children feel a sense of home and comfort, Devon and his team work to provide our youth with a childhood surrounded by encouragement and positivity. Ultimately, Devon and his team of caring professionals strive to provide an atmosphere of support, where each child has the necessary tools to achieve their goals.
Devon came to us from the Methodist Home of Children and Youth in St. Marys, Georgia. He has 15 years of experience in providing crisis interventions in the field of corrections and working with at risk youth. Devon received his bachelor of social work degree from Arkansas State University, his MSW from the University of Pittsburgh and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

Kate Williams oversees all fundraising and communication activities. Her passion for adoption and foster care is what brought her to MCH. According to Kate’s philosophy of fundraising and communications, giving is a form of ministry and our supporters play an integral role in the work of Methodist Children’s Homes. Her hope is to give everyone a chance to engage our ministry in meaningful ways.
Kate has worked in communications and fundraising for 7 years. She holds a master’s in public relations from the University of Southern Mississippi.
Director of Human Resources

Lacy Blanton has a passion for helping and guiding individuals to be the best at their jobs. Her favorite part of her job is helping to find the right individual for the right job.
Lacy’s motto for her life comes from Jim and John Harbaugh “Wake up and attack each day with a level of enthusiasm previously unknown to mankind. Wake up every day and do that and you will never fail.”
Lacy comes to MCH with over 2.5 years of human resources experience. Lacy is a proud wife and mother of two daughters and she graduated from Delta State University with her Bachelors in Business Administration.
Director of Therapeutic Foster Care

LaSonja Lightfoot ensures we have compassionate foster parents to provide safe and secure homes for youth.
LaSonja comes to MCH with over 15 years experience. She has worked in Therapeutic Foster Care for the last 4 years and oversaw permanent homes for over 50 youth. Her passion for advocating for youth and families is clear.
LaSonja is the proud mother of two sons and she graduated from Jackson State University with her Bachelors in Psychology and Masters in Counseling. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Counseling at Mississippi College.
Jerry Jackson, LMFT
Director of Residential Services
As the Director of Residential Services, Jerry provides strategic leadership and ensures the creation, implementation and integration of programs and services in alignment with Methodist Children’s Homes mission, methodology and strategic directions. Jerry is a part of the senior leadership team that drives the overall strategy for the organization and represents MCH on a local, regional and national basis.
Jerry came to us from Mississippi Children’s Home Services with over twenty-five years of experience working with children and families. Jerry is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. He received a Master’s degree in Counseling from Mississippi College.
Director of Finance

Nikki Thompson is our Director of Finance. She manages all financial operations for MCH and works hard to ensure that all funds are used efficiently
Nikki is a dreamer and believes “The size of your dreams must always exceed your current capacity to achieve them” (Ellen Johnson Sirleaf)
Nikki comes to MCH with 14 years of bookkeeping and accounting experience. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting Information Systems from the University of North Alabama. She is happily married to her high school sweetheart and they have one teenage son.
Director of Quality Assurance
As the Director of Quality Assurance, Becky works collaboratively across MCH to develop and support quality improvement processes aimed at benefiting the entire MCH system and improving the overall quality of services being delivered. Becky evaluates and monitors all MCH programs to ensure compliance to program standards and accreditation needs.
Becky came to us from the Mississippi Department of Mental Health. She has over 20 years of experience monitoring and evaluating local, state, and federally funded programs serving youth and their families. Becky received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Research Methods from Mississippi College. She received a Master’s degree in Social Work from Jackson State University. Becky is a Licensed Master Social Worker.
